He shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1970 for his work on neurotransmitters. Known as an eminent psychologist, Ulf von Euler’s credibility was highly recognized when he earned the Nobel Prize in Medicine. He fully concentrated on the mechanics and study of nerve impulses that greatly positively influenced the world.

He won a Nobel Prize in Ulf Svante von Euler‐Chelpin was born in Stockholm, 1905 and died there after a long and successful career, 1983. His father, Hans von Euler, was a scientist who won the Nobel Prize for chemistry in 1929. Ulf's maternal grandfather and Ulf's mother were also chemists.
